Looks interesting
So common uranium fuel rod should be used as an additive to this advanced fuel rods
But "powdered U ore" confusing me a bit - where's using of uranium ore?

After uranium chain 'ill wait for tin chain - bcuz bob's logistics more complicated with new recipes for belts with requires more tin and more bronze

Question, will every ore have a super mine(like the one iron has)?
Is it going to be added to the vanilla style of mining?

Thats the plan. Theyre all like the Diamond mine from pyFE, but rare. They are also only avaiable with phHT.

Define vanilla style of mining.

Sounds interesting.

I mean place miners on patches of ore.

No, mines have expecific places to be placed, like oil paths

I think HammerPiano may have been asking if you will be disabling vanilla-like ore patches -- if the only way to get, say, iron was through an iron mine.

Yeah, that what I was asking

Greetings fellow builders!

Today we finished the Uranium mine. Phew, that was hard to model, i need to spend less time into this things....but here we go.

So beautiful, u did hard but nice work, keep it up :)
No thorium (in bob's mods), but we have uranium, cool

nice mine it remembers me of an archer
also how ( ore patch wise will they replace vanilla ones? like 1 such archer will apear for like 7k uranium or so or are they independent from normal uranium?

i have no idea what an "archer" is.

But anyway....today we finished the uranium drill, used to extract uranium from ore patches.

New poll running! Vote in the next chain you´re like to see.

Thanks

Steel? hahha well..it isnt a "ore" but a forge/refine thing. It would be the only non-ore processing part of this mod.

I voted for tin, but we're all know that the steel is important part of some processes in our factory, for example its using for drill heads which needs to get some specific ores like niobium or molybdenum or in ground borer, steel is most used for mid-tier belts in bob logistics and in many-many recipes so we'll need it ;)

Ok! here we go for the steel chain. Not big, since its based on the iron one.

Interesting! So you can get steel from the iron chain or iron oxide, or do you need both? I'm also wondering if the liquid iron gives increased yields on the iron plates. Anything that stretches our resources further is always a plus. :D I'm loving this simple chain and how it gives a bit of a preview of how alloys will be handled.

It's getting harder and harder to wait to get these in my game. :)

OMG its small chain, but there soooo may special buildings: :)
1) BOF - Basic oxygen furnace
2) EAF - Electric arc furnace
3) Sinter plant - may be it can be used for ore sorting and enrichment?
4) Casting unit - may be for strand casting
5) Direct reduction plant - make some sponge iron

All these buildings have a fairly narrow specialization, may be they can be used in next chains

And now we have liquid iron and liquid steel, nice :D
