Starting ores

Post by Ornantius »

Hey, I just decided to give this a go, but i have a question:
Is it possible to ensure that at least quartz is located in the start area? (I'm playing with RSO based on a newbie setup guide i found here in the forum).

If I'm not mistaken, then to start it i need iron, copper and coal (which are in the start area) quartz (which i haven't found even after finding what feels like most other resources) and some tin for the machines. I'm fine with having to walk a bit for tin since i don't need a steady stream of it yet, but the quartz issue is really quite annoying.

You probably need to drop rso down a version. Rso was updated a bit to soon for an upcoming release

If i see correctly, that would be rso version 6.2.15? The changelog mentions PyMods.

How far away is that big update? Would it make more sense to wait until it's here so i don't have to juggle mod versions?

Please grab new RSO (6.2.17) and let me know if it works correctly for both new and old variant of PyMods.
