Trains trying to pick up items from REQUEST station

I have a market station that REQUESTS multiple items, once in a while a train comes by to load something FROM it, station does not have any PROVIDE setups. Train gets stuck forever cos he cant load anything, wont move until manually told to. What causing this behavior?

Looks for me so, that you forget a filter to protect request items get positive. It can get positive because your trains may be overfilled.

Can you elaborate on that? How do i put this "filter" you speak of. My trains always come fully loaded with 12 wagons, depends on content its either 24k, 48k or 96k.

If your station requests 48k but the train brings 96k than you have overfilled and your station becomes a provider.

You can
a) Make sure that trains only load as much as has been requested
b) Set Provid Threshold to 99.999 (or higher) on your requester station.

Filter: add a decider combinator for the sum (needed + in storage) of wanted items. “Everything < 0” goes to output. Then add the threshold signal to that output and feed that into input lamp of the LTN-stop.

In general (when you say my trains are always full and what I can see on the pics) you seem to ignore the output signal of LTN-stop and just fill anything up to the max. That’s not good.

I made that mistake in the beginning. LTN is thought to have exact delivery of needed amounts. I recommend to study the tutorial maps and blueprints here in this board.

So my Train network is playing up. It is setting deliveries to pick up from request stops and provide to both request and provider stops. I'm not sure what else to add, but based on the rest of my base functioning with almost identical signalling, I don't know what the issue is. This happens every time that I have the dispatcher enabled. Could anyone provide me with some help?

Set provider threshold for each requester station to a large number like 1.000.000.
This usually happens when a requester is overfilled.

Set provide priority on the requesting stops to -1. Works for me.
