LTN Filter Setting for Inserters

Post by Eagle_Keeper »

Situations: LTN station, with LTN combinator, Filter stack inserter. Some times the built in combintor in the station will show settings and set the filters, other times it will not.

Setup: Red Wire from Boxes to Light
Green Wire from Inserter to built in Combinator
Red Wire from LTN Combinator to Light

Am I doing something wrong?

Want to know if it is me or a bug before I bother Optera

The LTN-Station output combinator shows the cargo the stopped train should have when it leaves the station. For a provider, that is the shipment. For a requester it is usually nothing. That is why you need to use both the output combinator, the station itself and an arithmetic combinator.

Have a look at the Provider and Requester stations in the design thread to see an example of how to properly wire up filter inserters.

It isn't an issue of them working, it just isn't setting the filters on the inserters all of the time, hit or miss if it will set them correctly. I can delete the entire stop, relay the same exact blueprint and it will work.

In that case you have to provide a screenshot or blueprint or save file for anyone to be able to figure out what is wrong. Setting inserter filters works perfectly fine for me.
