Use Case:
I mark an LTN station as a "Fuel Depot" with a constant combinator. If a train is low on fuel (a configurable threshold) when a schedule is created, a "Fuel Depot" stop is automatically added to the end of the regular scheduled delivery (or made as a single, exclusive route). When the delivery is completed, the train enters the fuel depot, gets refuelled and returns to its regular depot. The threshold at which the train gets refuels could be a setting - for example, I could set the threshold to zero to have the train refuel when all of its buffered fuel is spent.
Justification:
Fuel does not have to be distributed to all/most of the regular depots. This allows for train depots to be more widely distributed across the map without the extra logistics needed for fuel delivery. Trains are only fuelled when necessary and (if desired) at a central location.
Feature Request: Fuel Depots

Re: Feature Request: Fuel Depots
Not going to happen in LTN.
LTN is designed around Depots being the place to refuel and clean out trains.
Distributing fuel to Depots is as simple as stamping down a fuel requester.
There also are auto refueling mods compatible with LTN.

Re: Feature Request: Fuel Depots
Which fuelling mod(s) are compatible with LTN?
Re: Feature Request: Fuel Depots
How about this?: Allow players to request items at depots - then I can request fuel at depot stations.
Nevermind: I see a few issues with this suggestion.

Re: Feature Request: Fuel Depots
I just have one "Depot Fuel" stop in the depot, separately to the actual depot stops, which requests fuel and distributes it to the right place to refuel waiting trains at the depots.
