[0.15.30] Multiple Desyncs from Modded MP Server

Desyncs in modded game will be ignored most of the time, until it is clearly proven that the desync is not caused by scripting.

[0.15.30] Multiple Desyncs from Modded MP Server

Hello,

Have been playing on a modded multiplayer server for the past two days with no issues. However, I go to log back in tonight (after playing for a few hours earlier) I get desynced over and over. The map is paused for everyone else while I'm desynced. It loops and never breaks until I Force Close Factorio.

I have three desync reports all from these attempts tonight:

Ok I deleted ALL mods, and downloaded an exact, zipped copy of the server's mod folder. Unzipped as necessary into my mods folder (they show in my mods list), yet still desyncing. It didn't generate a desync report this time for whatever reason.

Restarting the server fixes it in the short-term. I've discovered that if you let the server go through the desync process three times then who ever connects after that will get in fine. No one else will desync when connecting for a little while. After a while, though, it will suddenly start happening again. Only seems to happen during the first second of the catch up phase make it past that then you are golden.

Other players already on the server don't desync either and only one client doing catchup.

Is there a guide anywhere for players to look through desync and see where the issue might be or is it all custom in-house stuff we don't have access too?
