I started by noticing that if you offset heat exchangers between rows, you can use underground pipes to take the steam away from three rows. Then I noticed that this leaves enough space to run more water along the line for another row of exchangers.

I think you should be able to run these 132 heat exchangers with only 10 reactors, but I didn't do the math first. If you flip this and run more below the reactors, I think you'd need at least 18.

Anyway, I didn't see anything quite like this in the forums yet, can any of you improve on this idea?
