HELP! 2-to-1 Merge

Post by emp138 »

I am trying to merge two 1 lane rails into a single lane for drop off. I know I should be using two lane systems and whatnot, but I haven't gotten to that point yet.

Basically I have two copper ore mining stations one to North-West and one to North-East, merging going South into the drop off station for unloading to the smelters. I cant seem to get the signals to work. I tried copying what I saw on a tutorial, but as soon as the train gets into the station it sits there with "no path" until I delete all the signals and just hope it runs without hitting each other.

Any help on this will be greatly appreciated. Pictures to come if I can figure out how to embed/get them on here

The most common mistake for bidirectional tracks is to not have signals on both sides.
Though usually signals on bidirectional parts are pointless.
