here are some videos of the clock in action:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UnkdQEyGqqU
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2qMbWgLq3NI
although the creative mod was used for construction the clock itself works in vanilla.
If there is interest I can provide the map or something...
so here is the save file:
- trainclock23552.zip
- the save file (you will need the creative mod; and don't freak out if everything is crazy fast when you open it; the game-speed is high from filming the time-lapse)
- (6.25 MiB) Downloaded 268 times
and here is the 0.15 Blueprint string
(the string is too long so here is a link:
https://pastebin.com/wfcrMhsy)
(you will still need to do some things after placing the blueprint because for example trains aren't included in blueprints)

Eheh my work computer is a potato. Well, no, that's not fair, it's actually pretty good however it's running a business-grade quad video card which is suitable for office applications and some web browsing but the measly 512MB VRAM (and that between 4 screens) just doesn't do games =P

In a blank world at the very start of the game I get 2fps tops. It struggles with YouTube lol

Yep. It's designed for business use, screens that are 99% static visuals and occasionally you might move or resize a window.
