Update!!
So, the much smarter plan is to put a Wiki link and update the mod list there. Everybody, that means you can contribute!
Wiki Mod List

Mod Authors, if you want your mod to be easier to find and reference, I recommend sticking it on there. Or if you like, you can post here and send a PM to me and I'd be happy to add it in for you. I like making lists! :D

If you would like to send me mod info to add to the wiki for you, it would be of great help to fill out the following info, to ensure greatest accuracy:
Mod Name:
Author:
Latest version:
Factorio version:
Dependencies:
Brief Description:

Very impressive, good work!
(I won't tell you how to do that, but with my experience I think I can say the wiki is the easier way of holding always changing things uptodate)

I was thinking about that, and it would certainly make formatting easier. My thought process was that when you are looking for mods, you're going to come to the mod forum, so that is the best place to put that sort of repository.
However, in looking at the Wiki thingy, I think that's a good idea. I'll shuffle on over there.

I like this if it is maintained, frequently some good mods remain in the second or third page, and a list can help you find the type of mod expected.
I think this idea is better than modpacks. But these lists are forgotten when the owner of the post not updated.

Maybe with a direct link from this forum to wiki page with list of mods.

Boxing links to Smart Circuit Systems. I assume this is a mistake?

Anyway - very nice project! I also think it would be nice if you put it in the wiki - that way we can help out!
Maybe leave a link in this thread, and ssilk can make it sticky so it's easy to find :P

@sillyfly
Haha, that absolutely was. I don't intentionally play favorites like that

@L0771
I agree, the absolute worst thing about any list is when people stop updating it and then it becomes completely useless (and why I also like putting dates so you can get a hint of how long people have ignored it).

A link to the wiki and updating that is probably best, that way everybody can update as well and it's not all in the hands of one fantastic gentleman ( ;) ) and that's what I'll likely do. At the point, this post will probably become completely irrelevant though. maybe if there was a sticky or announcement post with a link for reference and stuff.

Landfill Map Change
Slipstream Chests Items Handling
AlphaMod Fluid Handling
Rail Tanker Fluid Handling

I don't know if this is helpful

Well even getting a temporary list of mods could help so I don't have to sift through the forums to find them. At the moment I am adding information to the wiki mostly based on how it was setup before, as in:
-Mod Name
-Author
-Latest version
-Factorio version
-Dependencies
-Brief Description

That description and dependencies part is the slowest bit, and having those would help the most. I appreciate the assistance :)
I'm glad you guys are taking the idea so well.

Great idea but two things:

1. Stickie the thread, now! :D
2. Maybe add a column "runs with" as some mods may have an older release that still works with (some) newer versions, RSO is one of these i think
