144 fps mod.. makes sense?

i made a 144 fps mod to see how it looks but i'm not really convinced anymore that it makes sense...

would like to know what the people here think...

note that it isn't finished and most mods won't work very well with it.

yeah seems like that mod already does what i was trying..
so what is the general opinion on that mod?
most animations are designed for 60 fps and don't even play at that rate.. so i actually wonder if anything will feel smoother...

You made a mod that interpolates 60fps up to 144fps. So the only thing that's gonna be different is the number shown in the top right corner. Just the number, nothing else. Interpolation doesn't magically make low-res textures high-res, and that applies for temporal resolution as well. Similar to how a "60fps 4K Upscale" does not magically bring a 1950s black and white movie up to modern cinematic standards.

TL;DR: Interpolation isn't going to help you.
