[MOD 0.11.X] UndergroundBeltsExtended aka Belts+

Hello guys i decided to make an "extended version" of underground belts.
Well basically just look at pictures and you will se what this mod does ...
I just simply made made new tech tree added some
broccoli in it and then it was finished.
I actually found that this concept was already here but unfortunately it was after i finished the "
mod".
Mod is tested with DyTechMOD but should work fine with vanilla as well..

You need to use the BBCode (or forum) format when hotlinking/embedding images.
In the meantime, everyone else can open the placeholders in a new tab and get the images that way.

I would strongly recommend changing the .rar to a .zip, since thats what the game prefers. Makes it so that players can just download and drop it into the mods folder.

Any change you could update this mod to 11.1? I really liked it a lot and it made my life in factorio just a little bit easier...

I have installed this mod, i like it. But i also use dytech. There are faster belts in dytech?
feature request. if dytech is installed, add some extra long belts for the faster tracks from dytech?
This would be cool to if that would be possible.

Looks like your file is zipped twice - it appears to be Belts+_0.0.2.zip.zip
you can try redownloading the mod or use this attatchment if it suits better:
copy it as is into your "/AppData/Roaming/Factorio/mods" folder

My main issue with this mod is the resource cost - It costs 5 transport belts to make a pair (2x) of vanilla underground belt items, so making a pair of your new underground belt items costs 15 transport belts (since your recipe asks for three pairs of vanilla underground belts).
Somehow, you're getting double the amount of transport belt out of thin air.
Apart from that, this is a good idea, I don't get why vanilla has such a low limit on underground belts, although 30 is a bit extreme in my opinion.

For anyone looking for a newer version of this mod for Factorio 0.13.X, I have updated a mod similar to this one (Upgrade), which is now called Advanced Logistics
This mod adds 2 new varieties of underground belts for each belt variety (30 and 50 distances), as well as chancing the base underground belts to have a max distance of 10 instead of 5.
