Ah, mod portal keeps crashing on me whenever I try to install mods, so I'll just have to wait for the fix then :)

it looks like this was updated for 14 ... im still running 13.20 i added the mod and resumed a saved game, but finding the crashed ship is not happening, is this only workable on a new map? seems like it would be a good mod to have, but imo it would be better if it was a research able / craft able ordeal vs seek and find

You find it almost immediately when a chunk is generated > 2000 from 0,0.

i have done as you suggested and expanded my already HUGE visibility range (with power armor 2 and 5 exoskeletons, it literately takes me 2 in game days to traverse one visibility edge to the other) and expanded the equivalent of 2 more radar station full scan visibility ranges, but have not been lucky enough to find it, also the aliens are quite annoyed with me and all my pollution, but when you want to launch rockets repeatably....

does it spawn the ship after you have launched your first rocket however?

EDIT: it does spawn after you launch a rocket, but i believe it spawns 3000 units from your visibility range when the mod is activated, screenshot attached shows how massive a search was needed to obtain the ship.
