Hey. Just wanted to say this looks fantastic. I didnt know I needed this but it is such a great idea. What can be automated should be automated after all.

Are you planning to include productivity modules and speed modules? Especially Productivity modules screw the ratios quite a bit. Once you do that I wont be able to play without this mod :D

Also if you have time you could display the icon of the assembler for each recipe as a small icon near the icon of the item in the tree, but that's just qol.

Is there anything else you have planned and are willing to reveal?

Thank you, Productivity and speed modules can be done but the gui will be a lot more complicated and every change would require regenerating the whole tree again. I will first look into a helmod plugin to just fill in a production line for you with the correct values so you can add beacons and modules yourself. Won't be this weekend though.

That's a good idea, I would need custom guistyles though since small icons don't look well when 3/4 is empty frame around it.

Announcement would be custom guistyles, soon, maybe? (we'll see in 2 weeks) Kind of have to program a robot arm to do chess, so I don't have a lot of time at the moment.

Good mod, but there are issues:
  • Number of items you can select from after entering item name is very limited. For example, I can't find simple "battery" in the list with Bob's mods + others. There are multiple "battery mk[X] equipment" etc. and no actual "battery". Could be solved by sorting this list properly.
  • Can't find some items at all like "Electronic circuit board" with Bob's.
  • Ratios with Omnimatter mod are wrong.
  • No "close" button in "Production tree" window, no reaction to "Esc"
  • Entering "[abc" in text box causes game crash.
  • It's confusing when multiple types of Smelters\Assemblers can craft same item, hard to tell which is used in calculations. Example: Assemblers vs Electronic Assembly machines in Bob's.
Also, maybe player should be able to select crafting machine for every item separately.

I wanted to try this mod, but when I start Factorio the mod is red. Is this mod abandoned?
