i messed with installing the mod till it showed up in the game and showed up in the map editor but when i start a new game i get this

You downloaded the mod -not-from-the-main-post-here- which is not the correct version. Download the mod from the first post and it should work fine.

When i try to log in , it says this "This account doesn't have a sufficient membership. If you bought the game on Steam, you need to connect your Steam account to your factorio.com account." Do you have another link please?

I hope this mod gets ported to 0.15. I really liked it in 0.14. It is quite unique and useful. Some other mods allow to compress materials, but that breaks the transportation mechanics of the game(so you can transport too much). Or some mods that have increased storage space. Increased is not virtually unlimited and those just have chests with lots of slot, so you would scroll it to see its contents... I really like how in this mod you can just check the amount stored and you can't deconstruct it, and the fact that it need power to compress and makes the items inaccessible(so you are still bound by throughput).

Yes I know this thread is over 3 month old still I would like to push it.
Can we please have a port to .15 and as it is almost 'round the corner one for .16, too?
I used this mod a lot with other mods, pre-mining ores and taping the box when I need additional ores. Also a great storage for wood.

Since this mod has not been officially updated for two factorio versions now, I decided to update it.
I have modified the original 0.14 version to work with 0.16 and posted it as a new mod here:
