I would love to see this as a 2X2 instead of a 1X1 as 1X1 seems a bit op.

I think this is a great mod as-is. A 1x1 is perfect - a 2x1 would be a nice addition to this very useful mod. Thanks, and much appreciated.

It would also make blueprinting it and rotating the blueprint break everything as happened with turrets before they changed it

I really love this mod, but would suit my needs better as 2x2, what and where do I need to change to make it 2x2 instead?

The mod still works flawlessly just change the info.json in the zip file yourself or replace it with the attached one.

Great mod!

Also from what I understand you need to change width and height under prototypes/entity.lua and resize the graphics accordingly, also you need to understand coordinates to set the collision_box and selection_box I think, I also don't see any conf for "grid size" but I think that should do it.
