Mostly focused on github for updates, this post might lag behind.
LONG DESCRIPTION
Expands upon the limited weaponry present in vanilla. Adding several new weapons and the associated ammo, all locked behind research. I made this mainly because I got tired of running around with a bunch of destroyers.
Adds: Assault Rifle (upgraded SMG), Sniper Rifle & Ammo (Long range, High damage, slow fire), Laser Rifle + Ammo + Upgrades, and grenade launchers, to put grenades a little further out there.
Would appreciate any thoughts on balance; the Laser Rifles are made more for behemoths so if you use the give command early in the game it'll probably seem super OP. I welcome any feedback, suggestions, or critique.
Released 0.3.0 Grab it off git
-Adds Grenade Launchers, more range than normal grenades.
-Three Launched Grenades to choose from.
-Research to unlock.
Next release will be a while, but I'd like to change the research icons, and generally all the icons. And I'm pretty bad at pixel art so its going to take me some time. After that not really sure where to go with weapons so might be *done* except for some re-balancing depending if anyone has feedback for that.
Going to flag and try and get this post moved to an appropriate subforum, because I don't believe any part of it isn't working.

Looks like there something different between the hyphen and an underscore in the file names.
If you downloaded the source off Git it uses dashes, which is why I upload the zip. Simply the game requires an underline before the version number, and sadly there isn't a way to get an underline instead that I've found. (You don't have to extract the zips they can stay zipped in mod folder).
tldr: I can't find words. Change "-" to "_" before the version number.
Should Look like:
Advanced-Weaponry_0.3.0.zip
or
Advanced-Weaponry_0.3.0
Finals are almost over, after that I should get a chance to update technology icons and release some small fixes and balances. In the meantime if you have any suggestions or complaints let me know, I'll try and squeeze them in with the update.
Also considering new weapons but not sure where to go after this.
