Coaxial Machine gun, It is mounted at the gun mantle or at the turret front. Factorio tank has one.

The smaller barrel on this light tank is a Coax-MG.
I selected this tank picture because the Coax-MG sticks out, while on the T-34 and T-55 I couldn't exactly figure out where the Coax-MG is located but they do have one.
