Im not sure if its the Lite or AC or even a Dytech problem but when I use casual farms with gremlins, rubber seeds or sulphur seeds - it randomly tosses charcoal out of the farms clogging up my transport belts

Charcoal? Thats interesting.

Is Gremlins a mod? Could you add a list of which versions you are using of all installed and enabled mods?

Id be inclined to blame it on dytech just because of their lack of official updates for a while, but really Id have to see the bug first.

Yeah, we probably could. I keep being lazy is the current issue!

So we can find the latest release (as always) here: https://github.com/Blu3wolf/Treefarm-Lite/releases

0.5.0 has no major changes from 0.4.2, but (unlike 0.4.2) will load on Factorio 0.13.0 to Factorio 0.13.3 (at least). Best of luck!

Treefarm for Factorio 0.13 is now up at https://mods.factorio.com/mods/Blu3wolf/Treefarm-Lite

So now that 0.13 is out, and mod threads have been deprecated in favor of the mod portal, Im not going to be updating this thread with the new releases any more. New releases will still be made to the GitHub page, and they will still be (mostly) uploaded to the mod portal site, but notifications will not be made here, in the Mods for 0.12 section of the forums. I may respond to threads opened here, but support for older versions of Treefarm Lite will be limited to general advice.

Future 0.12 users (if any), the last version of Treefarm-Lite you should use with 0.12 Factorio is 0.4.2. The releases of 0.5 and onwards are for Factorio 0.13.

Any future treefarm related discussion can be done on the mod portal, https://mods.factorio.com/mods/Blu3wolf ... discussion

Any bugs, issues or suggestions should continue to be made on the GitHub Issues Tracker, https://github.com/Blu3wolf/Treefarm-Lite/issues/new

Unfortunately not quite as quick and easy as the initial treefarm lite patch was.

I am tempted to remove the turrets for an initial release, and have them done up with new turret graphics.

Alright, you can get the same version as before here: https://github.com/Blu3wolf/Treefarm-AC/releases

The prerelease there is almost identical to the current version, but with no testing. Just a few lines added so it would load in 0.13 is all.

Future work might include updating that glue turret a bit. The competition looks a lot prettier now!

I know the front page said 0.13.3, but I was wondering if both Treefarm Lite and Treefarm AC would be able to work on the latest build. I believe it's 0.13.13 now.

I believe the latest release of Treefarm Lite is compatible. I think Treefarm AC still needs a new release to update it.

At the moment, there's not. Although if someone wants to submit one as a pull request it may end up there much faster.

To fix it, all you need to do is change one line in the prototypes.lua file. Scroll down to the section titled Field Mk1, then a little further to the subsection starting with: type = "furnace",

Then you need to find the selection_box section, and change the values to:

selection_box = {{-0.5,-0.5},{0.5,0.5}},

This will make it work, and will also make it so that the chest in the model is what you use to interact with the field instead of the field itself, which I always found a bit awkward.
