Last time I tried this mod, although EXTREMELY useful, it had the slight issue of sliding the vehicle into walls, meaning it phased inside, got stuck, and caused the vehicle to explode if you tried to move.
Aside from that, extremely useful.

i can confirm that this mod does not work with 12.24

If you just do the 'game to script' thing, it works fine.

Last time i played this mod it was excelent but i couldnt move

There is a similar mod called Straight cars. It doesn't do the grid snapping so it's safer to use. Not sure how similar is the direction adjustement.

From a lot of time I was making the vehicle sliding mecanics better (it would only slide if you're moving and it would not enter into something), there was some performance issue because it was searching entities and couldn't be satisfied, so I never put it, for now I've so many complaining about it and me not being able to make a correct compromize, so I completely stripped down this functionnality, If you liked this functionnality, the previous version (0.12.2) is exactly the same with the align to rail grid functionnality enabled.

VehicleSnap is an alternative, as far there is no update for 0.14.x
