Blueprint Flipper This version has been discontinued; for the immediate future, look to Roktaal's thread, he will be maintaining it.
Info:
Adds a pair of small gui buttons that you can click on while holding a blueprint to mirror that blueprint, horizontally or vertically.
That's... well, pretty much it. Isn't that enough?
Thanks to narc0tiq and Roktaal for pull requests to keep this functioning on the latest versions while I'm distracted and nursing non-factorio gaming addictions!

Go ahead. You don't need to ask. You're free to include it in any mod pack either as-is, or with changed recipes/graphics, or whatever. Comments to this thread linking the mod pack are encouraged/appreciated, as it helps me keep track of who's using the mod, but that's it.

Very cool.
And of course: To make links (that is the phpbb-term) you just need to report the thread (small "!"-button at top right of each article). Every global moderator can create links while moving threads.

Thisis probably a really stupid question, but can't you mirror something just by rotating the blueprint right "R"?

Nope, that's not mirrored, that's rotated
When you rotate twice, belts that used to go down now go up. When you flip, the belts still go down.

unles you flip vertically, in which case belts that were left to right still do.

thnx this is something I was looking for...
just 1 question... can you please add a keyboard butten to it ?
for example Hold R to mirror it or G or H or something...
or a option so we can chose what butten ?

Really cool. It took me a while to figure out how to actually use it, It was counter intuitive to me that I had to mouse click on the buttons which were so far away from where I was trying to place the blueprint, but once I overcame that, it was all go.
It would be nice if we had a keyboard binding for flip horizontal/vertical, preferably configurable in the options, not that I don't ask for much...

Hello,
Firstly, thank you for this very helpful Mod. It make´s many Restructuring Projekt´s that where before, a Pain in the A**, very easy & relaxing.
Secondly, I found a Bug, if u make a Blueprint with only a Concrete Path on it,
[I use a combo of Vanilla & Color Coding Concrete´s to make a nice path, with Ornaments]
& flip it, the Blueprint get erased (that happens even, without a green Circuit in your Inventory).
Aditional info;
1. This happen´s with only vanilla Concrete too, (the Color Coding Mod, was comp. removed for this Test).
2. This happen´s at both kinds " Flip BP Horiz. " & " Flip BP Vert. ".

That's actually a bug in the API I'll make a card to fix it for 0.12.8.

Hi,
I just tried to use Blueprint Flipper to copy and mirror my rail yard, and ran into the issue that signals will be flipped along the horizontal axis, so they're backwards and on the wrong side relative to the track and not registering. It took me about 10 minutes to remove all my signals and correctly place them on the opposite side of the track.
Is this something you could take a look at? I realise it is a bit of a special case, but it would be very convenient if signals would be placed correctly.
Otherwise, this is one of my favourite mods, it has saved me a ton of time. Thank you!

open the control.lua file and search replace "game.on_" with "script.on_"
worked for me for every mod that hasn't been updated yet.
I take it back, I had it working, but now I can't get it to work, even starting from scratch
