Just out of curiosity what helicopter is this based on? Because most of the helicopter looks like it should be an Apache but the nose and cockpit section looks completely different?

Nevermind i did some digging and discovered that it is based on the Agusta A129 Mangusta. Nice helicopter that

Nope, it's a russian Mil Mi-28. But they all look pretty similar.
Also, zumf is working on some extremely sexy new helicopter models. Scout, attack, possibly cargo variants. Gonna be super awesome! :!:

Sure, but which one should follow if you've got more than one? Last one you used, or nearest I guess. Yeah I can do that.

Feature Request :
-Option for clean helipad that doesn't come with heli-pad-concrete.
-Option to hide the controller gui and use a hotkey instead to open it, similar to helmod.

Also, is it possible to make the helipad have no health so that biters don't attack it? Seems weird when they attack what is essentially paintings on the floor.

I can do that guys, but it might take a bit because I'm busy with other stuff.
Can you propose some hotkeys please? It must not collide with game hotkeys. For example, I had Shift+W for takeoff originally. But as a side-effect you couldn't use ghost building anymore because it blocked walking.

CTRL+H maybe, H for helicopter. Besides as long as it is configurable it's not a big deal.

Yeah but default settings should be fail safe.
Ctrl+H for gui, ok. What about the "follow" hotkey?

I don't know, it's not my idea so I haven't think of that, if SHIFT+H is unused, you could use that also I think. H for helicopter for both hotkey seems nice.

Is there a Helicopter insurance mod? Helicopters are expensive and ...

Note to self: Do not jump out of heli while in forward flight over main base.
