Yeah I am really looking forward to Factorio getting onto Steam. It's definitely going to be one of those games where you play "just one more hour".

I implore you to get this game on steam ASAP.
This game just cries out for more attention, and I can see it being really popular.

I've played hundreds of games over the years and its rare one has me coming back to it like this just to play a little bit more.
Right now I have a 27 hour save I'm still working on.

I'm amazed these forums aren't bustling with discussion.

We want to get there, but we feel that we need to get some level of quality, (even for the wip section).

I'm new to this game. Looks like this topic might a boost.

Like to point out, that when I play this game, I added it to steam as a 'non-steam mod or shortcut'. Others are seeing what I'm am playing.

In just doing that, I get quite a few messages from people asking what the game is, and were is the steam page for it.
In addition, when I talk about the game to people instinctively pull up Steam and look for the store page for the game, and I have to direct them to the Factorio site.

I think its a great game, I love to direct more people to playing it. This game being on steam would make my job easier :D

Well, it is amongst the game concepts as far as I know, but they have made it clear that they do not want to go onto the greenlit page before they feel that a suitable amount of content is implemented and working as intended.

they are going to skip greenlit because steam gave them a special offer to go strait to steam.

But not at the time of this thread. The newest answer to it is one and a half year old :)
