So on the website there is this Artwork section. However those few are pretty useless in size, not big enough to be used as wallpapers and too large for anything else. Also there is no branding in there at all and no licensing telling people what they may or may not do. Also when you buy the game you have the option to spend a little more and get “a set of high-res digital wallpapers”, which makes me assume that it is not legal to publicly share those either.

I think it'd be cool to have some official wallpapers and similar promotional graphics (banners etc.) that can be used around the web to get people interested. Wallpapers could be uploaded to wallpaper sites like wallhaven, small banners can be used by enthusiastic players as banners in signatures on other forums.

Since there are a whole bunch of new graphics being added to the game and the steam launch is coming soon as well, maybe this is a good time for the staff's awesome graphics designers to provide some promo material that can be used by fans. Ideally release it under a free licence like cc by or at least cc by-nd.

I know, that they have engaged an artist for the artworks.

it is all coming, actually thanks for suggestions and don't hesitate to come with more, we want to know! the devs themselves have little time to organize this, but well... the team has grown and now there are certain people who will care about that AND they want to know now mapping what all needs to get done, it won't happen overnight, but it's already in proces...
