[Mod portal] Description pages don't really allow transparency in images

References in Markdown to an externally-sourced image that has a transparent background get a huge white rectangle for a background, destroying the transparency, for example: https://mods.factorio.com/mod/IndustrialRevolution - is it possible they could not do that?

I'm also not a huge fan of the thick white borders on non-transparent images, if I'm honest ...

Thanks.

Had to remove the transparent-background images from the Markdown because of the glare.

The images which are number 1 and 2 in the gallery in that link render as needed/expected when you view them from the gallery by clicking on them, i.e. you get the proper transparency, overlaid over the grey body of the page - but if you use Markdown to reference the very same image within the body of the page, it has a fully white background instead.
