"Application Error"

I launched factorio today for the first time in a few months, and started looking at my installed mods, before deciding to get rid of a few, and start looking for some new ones. I successfully removed several mods, and then when I went to install some new mods from the in-game mod browser, I was greeted with "Failed to connect to the mod portal". I then tried to go to mods.factorio.com in my internet browser (Google Chrome version 63.0.3239.132), and I was greeted with a title bar of Application Error, and the following text: An error occurred in the application and your page could not be served. If you are the application owner, check your logs for details.
Can anyone else confirm that this problem is also occuring for them?
