I just want to say, that the web mod portal is very slow compared with the rest of the factorio web sites and sometimes even throws exceptions at me.

Bear in mind with 0.16 is expected a full rewrite of the mod portal. While "just" a rewrite is not supposed to change the infrastructure, I'm pretty sure the devs are aware of the poor performance of the Mod Portal, and they will do whatever is needed to ensure it is the portal Factorio deserves.

Rsed mentioned ages ago that increased performance was a major goal of the rewrite. So you can pretty much place safe bets on the rewrite being a lot faster.
