Is the server running mods-data.factorio.com ok??

Post by credomane »

I noticed today that all the images won't load on the mod portal. Looking into it slightly deeper reveals a bad cert error for https://mods-data.factorio.com/

Code: Select all

Firefox does not trust this site because it uses a certificate that is not valid for mods-data.factorio.com.
The certificate is only valid for the following names:
*.c.cdn77.org, *.cdn77-ssl.net, *.download.cdn77.com, *.rsc.cdn77.org, *.rsc.contentproxy9.cz, cdn.advideo.lv, cdn.assets.newmarketholidays.co.uk, cdn.ctnsnet.com, cdn.forscope.eu, cdn.gigapromo.com, cdn.innomedia.nl, cdn.justuno.com, cdn.majestic.co.uk, cdn.ometria.com, cdn.tinypop.com, cdn.webstaurantstore.com, cloud.majestic.co.uk, download.efortuna.pl, download.ifortuna.cz, download.ifortuna.sk, download.poikosoft.com, i.gocollette.com, i1.abocdn.com, info.drakecasino.eu, info.gossipslots.eu, info.gtbets.eu, live.coolix.io, media.lingeriestyling.com, photo.comptoir.fr, resources.gocollette.com, s1.abocdn.com, storage.petlebi.com, stream.pastest.com, videos.universidadedoingles.com.br, www.cdn77.com, www.secure.nsw.gov.au

Looks like I misinterpreted the https options in our CDN provider interface. I fixed it but depending on your DNS cache it can take a few more hours to work again

Hi, I'm suffering the same problem here.

All the thumbnails are not loading, the mod portal site itself is generally very slow in loading, and from in-game in Factorio on Steam, I cannot see thumbnails nor download any mods.

I've flushed the DNS, purged the DNS using the Cloudfair tool, changed DNS manually to OpenDNS, Google DNS etc. and I still cannot get anywhere to download any mods.

Any idea what to do?

I'm in the UK by the way.

The thumbnail issue was only affecting the in-game mod portal browser. The CDN also served >1TB of mod downloads in the last 24h so I assume it must be a problem with your internet provider

Thanks for the reply vincenz.

It started working again about a day after I posted, so all's well now using the 1.1.1.1 DNS server.

The mod portal now loads very quickly and I can re-download mods from in-game.
