I am on early stage. And i need wood for circuit board.

However algae to wood chain are long and tedious.

Is there another way to automate wood ? (Note : i didnt use other mod beside angel and bob).

Also, is it possibleto burn wood into charcoal in future update ?

If you are running full angel's you can also get 100 wood for each special tree you cut down (dark blue dots on the map) and also an item that lets you make an arboretum that is the angel greenhouse equivalent. I have taken to just running around while my tiny starter base is researching the early metallurgy techs to get 5+ big trees which gives me enough wood to last me till I get the arboretums online.

Check out a mod called Arborium, when you chop down a tree, you get seeds, which you then place into the Arborium building which turns them into saplings which you plant to grow trees.

You get a big return...each tree drops default 2 seeds, which can then grow 2 trees...etc etc, this can be changed in the config.

It adds a machine called a 'Mulcher' which says it can turn saplings into wood instantly to automate the process
