Hi, I want to use angels smelting but new design of chemicals and full new procesing from normal factorio its not playable for me. Is here any way how to play just Angels smelting without instaling Angels petrochem ?

Smelting requires Petrochem.

Working around that would require a significant overhaul to Smelting which might defeat the purpose of the mod.

Its will be maybe hard, but just edit what is need for that procces, change for another fluid and it can be possible I know how eddit it, maybe not optimal but possible just dont know where remove that request for Petrochem.

Removing the text requirement/request for Petrochem can be done in the "info.json" file.

However, removing that alone will just cause Smelting to stop functioning entirely because recipes in Smelting are specifically looking for Petrochem ingredients. As much as you say "just edit what is need for that process" it is nowhere near that simple because Angel built smelting to only work with petrochem. Oxygen is needed for several processes. Coal, coke, and carbon are needed for several. There's chlorine gas, there's purified water, there's sodium hydroxide, there are all these petrochem ingredients that can't simply be taken out of the requirements because there's just no meaningful substitution for a lot of these things that actually makes sense and is appropriately rewarding.

Why is Petrochem not playable for you? If we can get to the bottom of that then there might be more options for how to work around Petrochem.
