Just disabling bobselectronics loads up fine for me. Anything else you added/removed?

it's now working.

I just remove the mod-settings.dat from the mods folder.

When everything was so simple.

Just started a new run, because without bio updated my old save broke in many ways. I noticed a bug that I haven't seen mentioned yet. The recipe for hand crushing the two starter ores appears in assembly machines. Sorry if this is intended behavior, but I assume that only ore crushers should have access to the crushing recipes.

Just installed bobs modsand smelting now works. I guess bobs ores did it.

That's an issue with the vanilla mode probably forgot to change a line.

There is a problem in 0.17 with Angel's Refining.
Too big ore patches. Less frequience - bigger patch, also size parameter doesn't affect ore patch size at all.
In vanilla and bob's mods without angel's works fine.

Sounds like a throwback to the 0.16 resource generator...
(IIRC there are ways to still use the 0.16 resource generator in 0.17?)

Bob Ores (alone) had this issue, but it would have been solved since then ?

Hi. Not sure where to put this, so feel free to correct me if I used the wrong thread.

I returned to Factorio 0.17 after a long break and I am planning to start a new game with angel's and bob's mods. But looking at the list of angel's mods, not all seem updated yet. Is there an issue with starting my game now and updating for example Angels Industries later, or should I just wait for all mods to be fully updated?

Greatly appreciate your work and had tons of fun with angel's mods in the past.

The vanilla mode bug with smelting should be fixed now.

I just tried running with the latest Processing+Petrochem+Smelting, and I'm getting a different error:

This is on top of vanilla (i.e. no Bob's) and besides these and RSO the rest is just some QOL stuff.

I'm getting the ore spawning issue as well, the frequency slider makes the patches larger, but doesn't actually effect the frequency, nor does the scaling slider push ore patches father apart (that may be a base game issue though). Size slider doesn't effect size.

New update hasn't changed anything, I'm getting the same error.

Can you tell us when Bio Processing will get an update? I absolutely refuse to play without it <3
