Re: Bugs & FAQ
Hi, I encountered a bug, using angel+bob+aai packs, the "crawler" construction vehicle moving instantly deletes all the fuel in the vehicle burner generator.

Re: Bugs & FAQ
Upps, I heard it somewhere but didn't actually tested it myself as i'm not there yet. (seablock marathon attempt) I assumed it must be in a clarifier, but FNEI is not telling about a void recipe...MageKing17 wrote: ↑Thu May 16, 2019 8:39 pmVoid it how, exactly? Sodium Hydroxide Solution doesn't have any void recipes.
Re: Bugs & FAQ
With all Bobs & all Angels installed, I am getting both Bob's Chemical Plants, and Angels as well. This seems horribly wrong...
Re: Bugs & FAQ
Also, icon scaling does not work for buffer warehouses and silos. (The Buffer warehouse has the small icon, you just can't see it behind the logistic warning.)

I have the exact same issue, most likely caused by https://mods.factorio.com/mod/PyCoalTBaA

Re: Bugs & FAQ
It shouldn't be as I didnt do anything with the icon size. But a save file or a list of the minimum mods needed to cuase the issue and I can get it fixed it iskatjezz wrote: ↑Sun May 19, 2019 6:48 pmI have the exact same issue, most likely caused by https://mods.factorio.com/mod/PyCoalTBaA
Re: Bugs & FAQ
Seablock on the latest experimental, happened a few days ago, any ideas how to fix?
Edit: Had to install Bobs personal Equipment mod.Re: Bugs & FAQ
I'm playing a new Seablock game, so forgive me for not checking without the additional patches from Seablock, but I'm noticing that advanced steel smelting seems to offer no benefit over regular?
While regular ore smelting gets you 3 plates from 4 ores, advanced gets you 1:1. But steel smelting is 2 steel from 8 iron, while advanced offers 6 steel ingots from 24 iron... the same ratio. There's a slight improvement to the oxygen use but that's hardly a big deal. Additionally, unless my math is wrong, going via a coil has little benefit, as it adds an extra step in exchange for slightly faster processing. It doesn't seem worthwhile to have two separate steps here?
Is this a side effect of Bob changing the steel recipe to include oxygen?
P.S. Bob's electrolyser is still craftable, but useless.

Re: Bugs & FAQ
I think the main advantage you get is that you can mix the ingots with other metals to end up with more steel.
Re: Bugs & FAQ
You should post stuff like this in the seablocks thread as seablocks changes a lot.
Yes. At least in earlier versions of seablocks it started out as 8 iron :1 steel.

Yeah me too.Warlordomega wrote: ↑Tue May 21, 2019 6:31 pm Getting a crash with Bobs Metals, Chemicals, and Intermediaries stating the aluminium sprite size is too large.
I tried editing angelssmelting_0.5.5.zip\angelssmelting_0.5.5\prototypes\smelting-override-global.lua
and adding icon_size to all the icon defined in the
"--OVERRIDE FOR BOBs
if bobmods and bobmods.plates then"
section, like so:
data.raw["item"]["tin-plate"].icon = "__angelssmelting__/graphics/icons/plate-tin.png"
data.raw["item"]["tin-plate"].icon_size = 32
data.raw["item"]["tin-plate"].subgroup = "angels-tin-casting"
data.raw["item"]["tin-plate"].order = "a"
data.raw["item"]["nickel-plate"].icon = "__angelssmelting__/graphics/icons/plate-nickel.png"
data.raw["item"]["nickel-plate"].icon_size = 32
data.raw["item"]["nickel-plate"].subgroup = "angels-nickel-casting"
data.raw["item"]["nickel-plate"].order = "a"
But that only changed the error on load to one where it was bitching about the plate-nickel.png instead.

Re: Bugs & FAQ
I'm on holidays so it will take some days till I'm back and able to fix this. Only solution until then is to not upgrade bobsplate

Re: Bugs & FAQ
The problem with bobsplates and the plate-aluminium error is that Bob resized some of the icons. A temp fix can be done while we wait for Arch666Angel to get back from having fun. (if going back down a version with bobsplates is not acceptable)
1. Extract the mod "angelssmelting_0.5.5.zip" to the same mod directory (should be in "c:/Users/<username>/AppData/Roaming/Factorio/mods/", ymmv)
2. Delete "angelssmelting_0.5.5.zip"
3. Resize these files to 64x64: (photoshop, paint, paint.net, etc)
This should be enough to get the game up and running, haven't done extensive testing, but it seems to work here.
Obvious warning that you do this at own risk and such!
