[1.1.27] Crash with non-ASCII text expansions in chat box (Linux)

Hi, all! I use AutoKey on Ubuntu to handle text expansions, and when AutoKey triggers a paste with a non-ASCII character in it into the chat box, the game immediately freezes for a few seconds and then crashes. Tested with multiple maps in multiplayer and in single player. Examples:

Crash on Alt-d when playing over steam stream (X11_DispatchEvent at SDL_x11events) with the same stack-trace: 97140

Thanks for the report. It looks like in the meantime we updated SDL which fixed the crash aspect of this. It still doesn't fully handle it (it logs an error in the log file) but hopefully future updates to SDL fix that too.
