This one is interesting because the upgrades has level 40 or whatever, but there is no increase in whatever the upgrade is (damage, speed, etc.). I am using the same harddrive I had every Factorio thing in, just moved it over to a new computer. There must be something on my old harddrive (I had 2, one HHD, one SSD where factorio is and all relevant data). The cost for the upgrade is also saved (so level 40 costs however many thousands of points, etc.)

I can cheat and research the upgrades up to the normal white science upgrade. So I can do weapon damage 7, but not 8. (/c game.player.force.technologies['physical-projectile-damage-7'].researched=true)

If I knew the other name for the tech after I hit this limit I can just copy paste all the new techs in, but I can't figure out what they are called...

So the bug is the actual upgrade isn't saved with the other factorio data such as file save, upgrade cost, and level. I googled around didn't find any solutions.

BTW my map just loses immediately, every front starts getting slaughtered-which is kind of neat, but I'd like to keep playing on this map since I have so much time into it (I'm on day 347).

Can you provide the save game?

I believe I added the save and the log...Not sure how to check that. Maybe I didn't wait until it was fully uploaded, it is about 28MB.

If I knew what the research tech was called in wave defense I could just command research #whatever. They only go up to like 7 or so (which I'm a bit higher than).

So no solution to this problem? Not sure how to proceed.
