Advanced oil ratios?

Once you hit advanced oil processing what's a good ratio of chemical factories.
More heavy to light , or more light to petro than heavy?
For example 4 heavy to light and 4 light to petro or more of one than the other?

I tend to use a bit of Heavy for Lube, crack the rest of the Heavy down to Light. Then I use some of the Light to make Solid Fuel, and try to crack all the rest down to Petro which is the one you really, really need (to make all sorts of useful stuff).
But as for ratios, no, sorry... I'm not that far into the game yet, so don't have a clue yet. I just try to build more Crackers or more Soliders if I see tanks getting full.

The ratio depends exclusively on what you wand to do with your factory.
You you heavily rely on solid fuel ? Solid fuel is optimally obtained with light.
Do you have big needs of lubricant ? This is made with heavy.
Are you a flamethrower addict ? You need light and heavy to make your ammo.
If none of the above, it's usually admitted that once you have enough heavy for your lubricant production, everything should be converted to petroleum gas, as it's used for pretty much everything else that needs oil (whatever needs batteries, like laser turrets, accumulators, blue science packs, but also whatever needs explosives (tank shells, rockets, ...), all the modules, and whatever needs red/blue circuits, ...). The needs for petroleum gas are tremendous. If something needs sulfur or plastic, you need gas.

Somewhere around 1 refinery to .3 heavy cracking to .75 light cracking I find. I often use a small pump and tank to store a full tank of heavy and light, just in case I want it for something.

H2SO4 is sulfuric acid for those wondering

Johnny was a chemist's son
Johnny is no more
For what he thought was H2O
Was H2SO4

I propose adding a new item to the game: "Bottle of H2SO4" - description: "Industrial quality sulfuric acid on a bottle. Try drinking it!"
Looks: yellow science pack
Used in research: None
Uses: can be eaten(/drunk)
Effects: Instantly kills the player, effectively forcing a reload of save

You mean, like this?
I've added this as a novelty item in my personal mod now.
