I've equipped three personal roboports, because I can. Now the bots go off to what seems like the far end of the world... triple ports not only increases the number of bots I can use, but also inflates the service area. I don't have many upgrades yet, so it takes the bots a lot of time to get there and back again. I'm already wondering if fewer ports might not be more workable, even though that also means fewer bots.

Shorter: having many bots at hand is fine, but i'd really prefer if they stuck closer to me for the time being. Can this somehow be accomplished?

Eh? Personal roboports have a limited range.

Range depends on the number of ports in your inventory. If you have a large number, you might try taking some out.

In my opinion, the personal roboport range is quite small. Are you using modded roboports?

This is for vanilla. If you don't experience this, then you're probably not playing vanilla .
