Hey there,
I have been trying and tried to build pumps on water but ended up failed to do that and it happened many a times till now. I am able to build on land but unable to do it with even a smaller water which is showing me a message "cannot build on water", can somebody please help me resolve the issue, not even able to build at least one, is there anything that i should follow or where i am doing a mistake?.

Need more information:
Are you trying to build a regular pump or an offshore pump?
Are you trying to pump water?
Are you playing vanilla 1.0?

There are two pumps.
One is in the Logistics category, and is named Electric Pump. This can only be built on land.

The other is in the Production category, and is named Offshore Pump. This can only be built on the water shoreline.

This is a common mistake new players have, so don't worry.
