Train timetable

Post by Florian »

Is it possible to activate a station in the timetable only when a condition is fulfilled?

When a certain amount of coal or solid fuel has been reached, a further stop station should be approached during the next run.

Or is there a mod?

Sure. Connect the train stop to the circuit network.

I think this has been misunderstood. I meant that in a train schedule a station can only be approached if a condition (too little coal) is fulfilled.

a train goes to station A, then to station B and then to station D. if there is not enough coal, the train goes to station C and then to station D

No, it is impossible to read the amount of fuel in a locomotive.

Trains generally “should” have one supply station and many drop off stations, or many supply stations and one drop off station (of course, one supply and one drop off works well too).

Simply pick a “one” side and supply fuel there. If its many supply, one drop off, then refuel at the drop off. If its one pick up and many drop offs, provide fuel at the supply station.

Space is ... well, you have to fight for it, but its effectively infinite. If you have to set up a train fuel supply train, why not?
