How to get building robots to work and repair?
I created 3 of them and i throw them out in my base. BUt they are just there, doing nothing, so what do I need to do?

You need to build a roboport, power it and put repair packs inside. They will then repair every damaged building inside the green construction area you see when hovering over the roboport. More info on the wiki.

No you don't. And shouldn't. The roboport slots are there so that robots can take partially used packs somewhere after a job is done. The player just needs to make packs available in logistics chests

what about personal roboport? so they follow you around? I created it but dunno where to put it?

The personal roboport is for equipments grids in modular armor and power armor (or vehicles like the Spidertron):

They do follow you (only to recharge really), but robots are very slow at the beginning. They don't become acceptably fast until several levels of worker speed research. And even faster robots can be outrun with several exoskeletons. So it's best to not run away and let them catch up
And where are repair packs? Seriously? Just look through the items
