Syncing mods to single player games?

Howdy,
I've experienced having mods sync automatically to multiplayer games but is it possible to have that happen when loading single player games too?

Sure. You can load a mod list from a save game

The button to do this is on top of the saves preview picture when selecting a save file in the load menu.
