[0.16] Power Reading kW = MJ conversion Ratio measurement ticks

Post by b_d »

60 Ticks = per Second1 J = 1 Watt per (second\Tick)https://www.unitconverters.net/power/jo ... second.htm
1000w  = 1kW
1 MegaJoule(MJ) = 1,000,000 joules
1000kW = 1 MJ
86 Ticks per second? 86 Ticks per (game) day?
1000W = 1kW
1000kW(/Tick) = 1J ?
1000J = 1MJ

I'm reading the Accumulator/Steam Engine Output and the Energy required for the Laser Turret at the Description 7.6MW per shot. Is the Conversion correct? so i can make my own estimation.

"Each shot costs 800kJ of energy; as the shooting speed increases through upgrades, so too does the power required to keep firing."

a maxed out laser turret shoots 4.8 times a second.
power use: 3.8MJ
1 Joule = 1 Watt per second
