Wave defence (0.17.68) - end-game

I've survived 21 days (waves?) and have 1M+ credits. Earlier play-throughs on 0.16 suggest I should be able to purchase a satellite for 500K credits but I don't see any option in the Upgrades menu or anywhere else. Do I push on and build a rocket/satellite as per normal game or did I miss something?
