Hey, im new to this game so I wanna ask how do I get the Iron Gear Wheel on the other side of the transport belt. I will upload a photo of what i mean .

Put a splitter on the gear belt with another belt going to the iron plate belt.

I guess that this isnt what you ment

But i want the Iron Gear Wheel on the Iron Plate Belt but not on the same side as the Iron pLates

So Fish already did a good job of explaining how to fix it. But I just want to add something... It is important to note that when placing on to a belt from the side (like in your original picture), inserters will always place on the far side of the belt, no matter what.
Just thought I would point that out just in case you didn't know, to hopefully help avoid future problems like this.

There are mods with inserter, They can place the items on both sides
