Hi,
I just got this issue (not sure it's a bug or I'm missing something) where my accumulator would charge but never discharge.
Any idea ?

The steam engines have a higher priority than your accus, so steam engines will always take over in the night. If you want your accus to work in the night you have to disable the steam engines.
Small hint: You can connect an accumulator with a circuit wire and read the current charge in %.
For example, you can place a single accu next to your offshore pump for your engines, connect accu and off shore pumps and set the offshore pump to enable if "A" < 20. Then the pump will only work if accu charge drops below 20%.
There are a lot of other options as well.

Oh thank you very much for your answer and for the tip fro cutting the other source of electricity using accumulator output
