Copy inventory filter settings?

Is there a way to copy inventory filter settings within one inventory?
Now I don't mean to copy the entire filter from one entity to another, what I am talking about is that I am setting the filters on my train cars to only accept the items they shall be carrying. And it is pretty tiring to go "you shall be carrying 20 stacks of copper plates so: middle mousclick, search and select copper plates X20". Is there a way to go "The filter for this item slot, the next 20 slots the same filter please"?

The standard Shift-Right click and then Shift-Left click will work between filterable inventory slots as long as the slots are empty. If a slot has something in it middle clicking will set the filter to be the same as the slot currently contains.
Once you have set one whole carriage, you can use Shift-Right click and then Shift-Left click to copy the whole carriage at one go, or create a blueprint of that carriage to be able to place them with filters in place.
