If this works, then I have here a simple electric plant, or at least I tried to set it up as described in the wiki. The poles, when placed, show a green box around them and both are within range of the steam engine and the electric drill. Yet I'm not getting power to the drill. I need some advice, thanks!

This. I advise strongly the activation of Alt-view (Hit Alt once).
This will help see what goes where .

Just a follow up thanks, the Alt view thing is so basic, making gameplay much easier for me! thanks again.
