Finding train stop by name [0.16.23]

Post by AngledLuffa »

Is there a way to jump to a specific train stop by name on the world map? I've been appending what the stop is used for to the default name given by factorio, but that makes it hard to remember where, for example, Blu Copper Plates is. Would love to be able to search for that on the world map and then zoom in on it.

Best I could suggest atm would be send a train there and follow it in the train's interface, or just ride it there. I tend to junk the default names and put something a bit more discriptive in there. Something like Smelters-Iron-Northwest along with Iron Plates-Loading-Northwest. Gives me an idea of where it is in my base (northwest in this example) and what the stop is for. Usualy the only problem children are the temporary stops that never got removed and didnt get a name more discriptive than "Temp1".
