Synchronizing artillery with music

I just had an idea but Im out of reach of the computer that can run Factorio...

Can the artillery turret be programmed? Can I synchronize firing artillery shells with programmable speaker music?

I have a classical tune in my head that could use the artillery as an instrument :)

Can the artillery fire regardless of there being bugs in range or not?

It can but you need manual clicks, and you'd need to account for aiming. Presumably if you select to fire on the same spot enough times to make it through the music, plus an extra to get the initial aim right, you could time it by inserting ammo at the right times.

Inserring at just the right time should be doable. I am more concerned about the turning speed honestly

Turrets turn without ammo. So if you don't fire too fast they should have turned already.

If they turn iwthout ammo, then you should be able to have a large array of them and insert ammo into them sequentially each time you need an artillery shot.

...which you could put in with inserters.

Use programmable speakers for the instruments, some combinator logic (okay, A LOT of combinator logic), and you can do it 100% inside Factorio, fully automatic. Oh, the glory to be had!

Now, can it actually run full speed...
