Blueprint will only rotate 180 degrees

Blueprint will only rotate 180 degrees

So, I have a blueprint for the end of my run to build out the rocket silo. Oddly, it will only rotate 180 degrees, instead of 90 degrees like normal. I can't figure out why. I've dropped the blueprint string below in case there's something I'm just not realizing about it. Hoping someone can point out to me what the trouble is. Thanks in advance.

I just hit the same bug (or are we going to pull a "Microsoft" and call it a feature?)

I am shocked that they never fixed that. It is lame. Makes it a pain to use blueprints that include rockets.

I'd probably also guess that pumpjacks are subject to the same rotation restrictions, at least because of how the outputs are laid out. I can't think of any other entities with such a restriction, though.

True, although it probably does not matter as you need to place pumpjacks over unpredictable oil fields, so you are unlikely to blueprint them.

For rocket silos it is a very different matter as blueprints can help a lot to place the various inputs, outputs, modules and beacons.

I think the main reason for not allowing rotation is that rocket silos are not square:
- If they are not square they use different amounts of space depending on orientation.
- Different amounts of space mean that in a blueprint inserters cannot reach them and beacons could end up out of range.
- Also, rocket silos have to be displayed with a specific orientation so that we can view the rocket launch.

To fix it the first thing needed would be a redesign of the image, so that it becomes square. Only then it will be possible to make the other changes to permit blueprint rotation.

Pumpjacks have 4 rotations but I think the connections break as you rotate the blueprint.
