Multiplayer Not Working

My friend and I were trying to play together on a world we started two days ago, and everything worked fine. But when she goes to connect to my server, it says "No connection" and there is no ping. We can ping other servers and are both on the same wifi. We have the same mods installed and we are both on .15.30.

I believe it would be more appropriate if you posted your problem in the Technical Help forum instead of the Gameplay Help forum.

I would try the following to isolate the problem:

Does the connection work if the other person is the server, i.e. if you switch server and client?

Can you connect to each other when you start a new game without any mods?
